Linkin Park is a two-time Grammy award winning nu metal band from Los Angeles, California. Their songs reflect a Hybrid type of music that combines modern rock and metal. Members of the group are drummer Rob Bourdon, guitarist Brad Delson, and singers Mike Shinoda, Joseph Hahn and Chester Bennington. Their first album, Hybrid Theory, came out in the fall of 2000 and has reached sales of 4 million copies, making it a quadruple-platinum seller. Hit Linkin Park songs include, “One Step Closer” and “Crawling", which won the band a Grammy Award for “Best Hard Rock Perfo rmance” in 2002.
